Welcome to the IRCC (formerly the FCIRCC)
The Florida Citrus Industry Coordinating Council was established in 2001 through the cooperative effort of many organizations including Florida Citrus Mutual, Florida Citrus Packers, Florida Citrus Processors, Citrus Grower Associates, Florida Citrus Production Managers Association, Florida Citrus Commission and others. FCIRCC was created to assure that the most pressing research needs facing the INDUSTRY were addressed. It was recognized that all segments of the industry needed to be involved in the process of prioritizing research needs, determining research projects and identifying research gaps.
In May of 2011 the Citrus Resarch & Development Foundation agreed to assume the functions of the FCIRCC. A new committee, the Industry Reseach Cordinaion Committee (IRCC) was formed. All members of the FCIRCC will be appointed to the new committe and continue to serve the industry. The process will take time to evolve, so continue to visit this web site to stay informed.
