The Florida Citrus Industry Coordinating Council was established in 2001 through the cooperative effort of many organizations including Florida Citrus Mutual, Florida Citrus Packers, Florida Citrus Processors, Citrus Grower Associates, Florida Citrus Production Managers Association, Citrus Harvesting Research Advisory Council, Florida Citrus Commission and others. FCIRCC was created to assure that the most pressing research needs facing the INDUSTRY were addressed. It was recognized that all segments of the industry needed to be involved in the process of prioritizing research needs, determining research gaps and identifying research needs.
Membership of the FCIRCC is divided between various industry organizations as follows:
